Community games are now flooding the woodworks of the Xbox Live Community, and that’s a good thing because choice is never a bad thing. The latest community title is actually kind of interesting, in that it mixes together real-time strategy, party-game flare and a little bit of simulation.

“I wanted to play something simple, smart, and addictive when friends came over, but couldnt find anything that fit the bill” Says Steven Jones, developer of Bored Meeting. “With inspiration from great casual games like Chu Chu Rocket, I believed gamers would welcome a change of pace. After months of development Bored Meeting was born, and Im happy to say the playtesters arent bored of it yet!” said Jones.

The game sees players controlling a product manager trying to manage and accrue funds by drawing on a white board. Fun, eh? Well, I’m sure that description does the game no justice whatsoever, so I’ll try this approach: While players manage their time on the white board, the game simulates the varying changes in the market they’re fighting to control, which can add a good sense of challenge and urgency to the gameplay.

It’s labeled as a pick-up-and-play casual RTS game for multiple players, allowing for a fun time with friends. I’m sure my description of the game above doesn’t do it half the justice it deserves, but that’s okay. You can learn more about Bored Meeting by visiting the Official Website.
