The Bourne Conspiracy is a game that at first glance you may place in the has-been pile. But you’d be mistaken, because the game’s frantic up close action and bonebreaking moves are enough to win over the most jaded gamer’s heart. While some of those annoying innocuous button pressing quicktime events do exist, there’s far more fun to be had when you get into a brawl.

Take the latest trailer as an example. It showcases a number of contests of fists that Jason will get into throughout the game. You won’t just be smacking dudes with a rolled up magazine though. Full blown back and forth fights, complete with enemies who will block and cause you to think as you mash, give the game a frenetic aesthetic. And let’s not forget that you’re a multi-million dollar killing machine, so running into a room as bullets fly should be little problem. Just slide into the knees of the nearest enemy and use his battered body as a shield. You should easily dispatch those who surround you.
