With just a month until Bourne Conspiracy's release, the demo's now available for download on Xbox Live in North America, Australia, New Zealand, and India. It'll be available in Europe in a week and in Japan whenever you folks buy a few million more 360's.
The demo's a healthy 1.24 GB so expect a couple levels of sample gameplay. I haven't gotten a chance to play it myself but supposedly you get to reenact the Consulate scene from the first film. You know, when Bourne's all like, "Blah blah, I'm Matt Damon, stop trying to arrest me. Hey lady, I'll give you money if you drive me to Paris." Yeah, that scene.
Rather than being based on any of the films, though, the game has an all-new story and allows players to control Bourne both as a government assassin and an international fugitive. As previously reported, the game doesn't even use Damon's likeness or voice - it looks like High Moon Studios is really trying to distance the game from the other craptastic entries in the "video games based on a film" genre. I can't blame them. Conspiracy is due in stores in North America on June 3rd for Xbox 360 and PS3.
