Valve's throwing a bone to indie game lovers this weekend. Jonathan Blow's Braid is only $5 from Friday until Sunday on Steam.

Braid, if you're not aware, is a platformer in which the main character has control over time. It starts off pretty basic, with you being able to rewind time when you get killed but gets more and more intricate as the game goes on. The Blend Games staff loves it pretty hard.

The discount also removes one of the few complaints leveled at Braid: that you're paying $15 for a game that only lasts a couple of hours. I never had a problem with the price point, though.
