Braid For PC's Price Lowered

Wow, pissing and moaning on the Internet actually is productive, after all. A mere day after the announcement that Braid would be coming to the PC for $20 - $5 more than the Xbox Live Arcade price - the price is already being reduced.

Braid creator Jonathan Blow revealed the price change on his blog today (via Shacknews). "Yesterday, Stardock announced that they would be selling Braid at the end of March for $19.95. This price has proven to be unpopular in certain areas of the Internets, so I've reduced it to $14.95," said Blow. "Pre-orders from Stardock have not been charged yet, so if you pre-ordered at $20 you will still get the game for $15."

Was the Internet bitch-fest that surprising? People screamed bloody murder about the $15 XBLA price last year, too. Anyway, the game is being sold on Impulse, the digital games service run by Sins of a Solar Empire publisher Stardock. It'll be released on March 31st.
