Independent game studio doublesix, recently announced that their upcoming game Burn Zombie Burn!, will be invading the PlayStation Network. And this news is not just about the game burning up PSN, the game has an official release date and March appears to be the flaming target.

This top-down, third-person shooter will feature six levels and have all new mechanics for the genre, including a very robust fire system that sees players roasting and setting flame to as many zombies as possible. It’s all so players can stop and say, “burn zombie, burn!” Realistically, the game reminds me of SouthPeak’s Monster Madness.

Anyway, to help promote the game there will be a series of competitions where gamers can win some nifty Bun Zombie Burn! swag. There’s also a collection of movies up on a YouTube Page, to further convince the skeptical and unassuming gamer.
