CEO of CD Projekt RED, Marcin Iwinski made a brief announcement in a short YouTube video about a major upcoming announcement for both CD Projekt and Good Old Games. Basically, you can chalk this news up to being an announcement about an announcement.
DSO Gaming managed to scavenge through the wasteland of YouTube poop to find the announcement from Iwinski, but even they keep a measure of brevity and lacking prescience when it comes to exploring the possibilities of said announcement. You can check out the video for yourself to see if you can come up with anything other than a Smurfs video game.
The possibilities for what they could announce are potentially endless here. After the recent release of The Witcher 2: Enhanced Edition for PC and Xbox 360, I tend to doubt that they would be so quick as to announce another Witcher game.
The real interesting thing about it is that it also involves GOG.com, which again, could mean anything. The last big announcement the company made was that the digital distribution service would be selling brand new, DRM-free games.
We'll keep you posted on what the summer conference entails or you can just remember to tune into either CD Projekt's Website, GOG.com, or the The Witcher Facebook page on May 30th, 5 P.M. GMT to find out what the big reveal is.
