CD Projekt RED Wants To Put Your Face In A Game
Game developer CD Projekt RED wants to take your face off...And put it in one of their upcoming games. To participate, you have to do little more than already own a digital copy of The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings on Steam and a camera, or purchase the game through Steam by Sept. 30. Then, if you're one of the lucky winners from each pool (Nicholas Cage Voice) they're going to take your face...off.
In case my reference to horribly awesome action flicks made that too complicated, here's a breakdown of the two ways to enter. First, you can head on over to Steam and buy yourself a copy of The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings between now and Sunday, Sept. 30, at 10 p.m. GMT. Then, all you have to do is send in a digital proof of purchase and a brief explanation of why you should be chosen and you're entered to win. The link for that is coming up.
Second, if you already own The Witcher 2, you can take a picture of yourself dressed as a character from an existing CD Projekt game. Send in that, along with an explanation as to why you should be selected, and you are entered.
Whichever route you take, your entry can be filled out by going to the “Face in the Game” website. Choose your method at the bottom of the page, provide the information they need and, boom, you're set.
If, somehow, you are still confused, the folks over at CD Projekt have put together this handy little video to explain the rules of participation one more time. It also goes over the process for putting your face in the game, so it's worth a look for that alone.
