During Sony's keynote at the 2010 Consumer Electronics Show, SCE boss Kaz Hirai announced that the PlayStation Network will no longer be limited to the PSP and PS3. The online service will appear on other Sony electronics as well.

The extended PSN will offer a "a single user login and experience across all product lines." You'll be able to use the account that you created for your gaming systems to make purchases. Starting in February, Bravia televisions, Blu-ray players, and Windows-based PCs will be able to make use of PSN's video service.

A new studio is being created to create content for the expanded service. The new company, Sony Network Entertainment, will be headed by Hirai.
