Call Of Duty: Black Ops' second map pack is now available through Xbox Live. You can download the Escalation pack for 1200 MS Points ($15).
The Escalation DLC adds four new maps for competitive multiplayer:
Hotel - "players battle it out on the roof of a Cuban luxury hotel and casino against the vivid backdrop of old Havana"
Convoy - "intense, close-quarters combat at the scene of an ambushed U.S. military convoy"
Zoo - "sets gamers on an eerie ride through an abandoned Soviet Russian Zoo with danger at every turn"
Stockpile - "pits players in a remote Russian farm town, housing secret WMD facilities"
Also included in Escalation is a new map for zombie co-op. "Call of the Dead" features Robert Englund, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Michael Rooker and Danny Trejo as playable characters. Trapped in Siberia, they must fight off waves of zombies. One of the zombies is none other than Night of the Living Dead director George Romero. The map sports a new track from Avenged Sevenfold entitled "Not Ready to Die."
Treyarch will celebrate Escalation's release with double XP gains for multiplayer. The double XP event will begin on May 6th and run through the weekend.
