Call of Juarez: Gunslinger Lets You Hunt Wild West Legends
This morning Ubisoft announced Call of Juarez: Gunslinger, the fourth game in the shooter series. Gunslinger, developed by series creator Techland, will take players back to the days of the Wild West.
Gunslinger is billed as an "real homage to the Wild West tales." Players take on the role of a bounty hunter on the trail of some of history's most notorious criminals. Billy the Kid, Pat Garrett and Jesse James are just some of the targets.
The Concentration mode from previous games will make a return, but in a slightly different time. This time, activating it allows you to take down multiple opponents at once but also dodge bullets. Concentration mode, along with a new skill progression system, will allow you to stand toe-to-toe with all the West's famous outlaws.
In a break from series tradition, Gunslinger will be a digital release. As a result, it's probably smaller than earlier games. There's no mention of multiplayer in the press release so maybe that was one of the cut features.
Gunslinger will be available on Xbox Live Arcade, PSN and PC in 2013.
