I currently sit at 960 with my Gamerscore on Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. If you know me then you probably guessed that the 20-point achievement for finding all 30 intel computers is one that I’m missing. As much as I enjoy games, I can’t bring myself to look for trinkets. But the one thing that has been kicking my ass is that damn “Mile High Club” achievement for beating the Epilogue on Veteran. It is perhaps the most ball busting achievement ever made simply for its difficulty and ability to get me to go for it time and time again.
Frustration got the better of me and I sought help. I went searching for someone to tell me how to get through. I’d even been able to get to the end a few times only to watch my last second tick down before getting to the hostage. It was enough to get me to forswear any more attempts. But I didn’t heed my own advice, and continued to “sprint slash” the guy in the bathroom as I futilely went on to get my ass handed to me.
But I’ve found salvation, and I’m here to share it with my fellow players. Those of you out there who may be Achievement Junkies and just want to round out COD4, but just can’t get past this difficult task, the video walkthrough below has helped me to finally get to the end. I have mastered this level. And I uh…don’t have the achievement.
Why? Because I went through the entire level only to shoot the damn hostage in the head. That’s a headshot that doesn’t count in my favor. Hopefully you’ll have better luck after watching this video from NextGenWalkthroughs.com.

thanks a lot for ur help with this, i was on it for hours and getting so frustrated... another thing that helped me was ur walkthrough for the no fighting in the war room on veteran so thanks a lot :)
Ace walkthrough there. i literally tried this level for days, and i gave up and demed it unbeatable, but you've given me new hope and confidence xD
nice vid man :-)
Omfg, you make it look so easy but not even close. Either this guy has it on a easier difficulty or he has no life because all this junk it does does not *&*&%^*&%^&%^% work. There's no %&*$&&*$$&*% way to beat this. Everyone who did is fat loser who plays this all day. God im so sick of trying and ive literally damaged my hand cause i hit my hand on the floor so hard. TO MRSHABBYPANTS- NO IT DOES NOT SEEM EASY!. Im fricken done with this lvl, screw it, if you watched this video and think its that easy your way *&%$@# wrong. This level should have a warning saying: WARNING this level is to *&$%#$ hard and WILL PISS YOU OFF. F YOU COD4!
I have been trying to get through the Mile high club (Veteran) for so many times and used so many different tactics. I wanted to succeed fairly but thanks to this helping comment it makes it a lot easier :-)
So now i can set my mind to the achievement points :-)
This video was the only reason that i got 1000 gamerscore for cod4 now, and it really helped alot... i tried for two hours then gave up after my hands cramped up, then it took me another hour, to see what really needed to be done... SO SOME ADDED IMPORTANT ADVICE: there are points in each room that if you reach, your team comes blasting through shooting anything that moves, so follow the route this guy takes cause it has better angles and more cover, but triggers your team to back you up... if you do it right, it actually seems like its too easy for veteran and gets fun enough i play that level for fun on veteran now after i got the achievment... FOR THOSE WHO SUCK AT HEADSHOTS, play the level on recriut or whatever is fun and beatable, and just practice the headshot, the hostage and HT struggle the same way everytime with a large opening to blow the HTs head off... so for me, i knew i just needed to get there, knowing i am guarenteed the headshot
A quicker way to take out the final terrorist is to kneecap him first. When you get to him, you can see one of the terrorist's legs in between the hostages. Simply shoot him in the knee and he lets go of the hostage and gives you a much clearer shot to finish him off, and saves waiting for a clear shot at his head.
so totally seems lik you didn't get shot lik at all. Which is much different than what i have been encountering. Is there lik any other hints that you could share? Very awsome vid and i really hope that i can get this achievement. Thanx got the help. =)
i saw this video after id done the achievement. Same as you i got to the end and headshotted the hostage a few times, though i did it in around 10 attempts so that was cool.
One thing not mentioned in the video is you start of with 4 flashbangs, but there is a spot on the upper deck on the left where yo ucan get more, (the second room in on the left) thus if you have not a lot of time left, throw those down there and run for hell.
Thanks a lot for the walkthrough, I have a bet with my mates that I won't be able to do it, this looks like it will secure the bet!! Thanks again!
