If you weren't aware there was a video game in development based on The Flash, the super-fast hero from DC Comics, don't worry about it: it's been cancelled. However, two artists from developer BottleRocket Entertainment have just revealed screenshots and character models so everyone can see the game that might've been.

BottleRocket artists Bryan Johnson and Veronica Lynn Harper placed artwork from the game on their portfolios, where it was spotted by superannuation. The game was cancelled when publisher Brash Entertainment went out of business in November 2008.

A game with Flash wandering the streets and fighting crime, eh? Games have gotten by with worse premises. It probably would've had players chasing after cars on foot and taking down enemies with "bullet time," slow-mo combat. According to Johnson's portfolio, the game would've been released on Xbox 360.
