Capcom Gets XBLA Size Restriction Loosened - New Bionic Screens

Last month Capcom devs were saying that squeezing all of the high def graphics in the XBLA version of Street Fighter II was proving to be difficult. Now it looks like Microsoft is making an exception for the game, as well as for Bionic Commando Rearmed. Capcom has said that all of the content they want in the game, and which will appear on the PC and PS3 versions, just didn’t fit in the 150MB limit of XBLA. The guys over at Capcom worked with Microsoft and it looks like things have been worked out.

The cap hasn’t been raised officially yet, this is simply an exception. But when Symphony of the Night broke through the barrier the first time around there was an official bump up not long after. It’s likely we’ll see something happen very soon.

In the mean time why don’t you take a look at the new screenshots of Bionic Commando Rearmed? This way you’ll know just how nice Grin is making the game look. Scroll down to the gallery below for the screens.
