There have been some discussions running about regarding a second version of Street Fighter IV and it may feature some SF Alpha favorites and some new stages. The only problem is that none of this can be completely confirmed because the news was in Japanese.
Electronic Theatre is reporting that some new details have been unveiled regarding the 2nd version of Street Fighter IV. This according to the Japanese blog for SFIV, in which a new version was discussed but details on whether it would be a full retail game or downloadable content was not revealed. According to Electronic Theatre, “…the development team have thought long and hard about what should be included. Firstly, a couple of possible characters have been revealed. Rolento is a possibility, should there be adequate demand, and a mysterious hint that Gouken’s daughter may have a role. Rolento was one of my favorites from the Street Fighter Alpha series. So I’m kind of stoked if he manages to make the roster in the tentatively named Street Fighter IV 2nd Version. Also, the article states that stages and fighting arenas will be discussed in the future. New intro animations, a manually adjustable camera and more “rival” immersion and conflict will be accentuated in this second version of SFIV. As soon as new details become available we’ll notify you about them. Until then, be sure to stay tuned in with Blend Games. |
