Bohemia Interactive let loose a new trailer for Carrier Command: Gaea Mission, which details the game's multifaceted gameplay mechanics, including the ability to pilot aerial vehicles, tanks and boats. The best part about it is that this unique title that seems to advance on what started with the Battlestations series will be arriving for both console and PC gamers.
Bohemia's real-time strategy, action-oriented total warfare game seems to pride itself on a large open world setup, lots of intense action and plenty of customizable vehicle units, upgrades and typical RTS base-advancement features. It's cool to finally see these kind of strategy-oriented micromanagement tools making their way into the more action-packed Battlefield-style gameplay arena. Check it out in the new trailer below. As mentioned, it reminds me a lot of Eidos' Battlestations games. The ability to switch between strategic command modes and the actual fighter units in the air, on the ground or in the sea is a really neat touch. I almost can't wait to see how games like this scale on larger systems and to see just how many players will be able to fit onto the battlefield. You can look for Carrier Command: Gaea Mission to launch for the Xbox 360 and PC in October. You can learn more about the game by paying a visit to the Official Website. Back to top
