The Behemoth's co-op beat 'em up Castle Crashers has won the top honors for the 2008 Xbox Live Arcade Awards. In addition to winning Game of the Year honors, it also racked up two other awards: Best Original Game and Best Co-op Mode. Here's the full list of winners:

• Best Single Player Game: Portal: Still Alive
• Best Remake: Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix
• Best Original Game: Castle Crashers

• Best Graphics: Super Street Fight II Turbo HD Remix
• Best Family Game: A Kingdom for Keflings
• Best Co-op Mode: Castle Crashers

None of that's very surprising, is it? Ah well. We'll have to rely on other entertainment mediums for controversial award picks. Congratulations to the winners.
