Cryptic Studios is now accepting sign-ups for the closed beta of its upcoming super hero MMORPG Champions Online. Though the game will be released on PC and Xbox 360, the beta will only be held on one platform.

Guess which platform? PC. Yeah, we're surprised, too. You can apply for the beta, set to begin sometime in November, here. Yes, that's right - another game to play in November. Joy.

Champions Online, based on the pen-and-paper role-playing game Champions by Hero Games, will hit stores in Spring 2009. The debut trailer from the beginning of 2008 is posted below.
