New interview for The Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena. With the interview comes a smorgasbord of new information for both the gameplay and the story. Tidbits of information were revealed that some gamers (and movie fans) might be looking forward to.

The interview takes place on TheGameReviews and asks some rather evocative questions, such as the following: “With Escape from Butcher Bay, the animated movie Dark Fury and the two live action movies, there seemed to be a considerable push in developing the "Riddick" franchise that fizzled rather quickly. Does this game try to revive that effort? Does the new content in the game provide a greater insight to the universe of Riddick?”

Talk about not beating around the bush. So what was the response in the interview with the producer at Tigon Studios, Ian Stevens? Well, don’t expect an entire reprint of the interview here. I’ll just briefly inform you that there’s some hints about the Riddick franchise, a detailed explanation of the new Pitch Black mode in Assault on Dark Athena’s multiplayer feature, and some tidbits of story revealed regarding the mercenary Johns and Riddick as they board the star-ship, The Athena.
