Atari has released some new screenshots of the upcoming Riddick game for the Xbox 360, PC and PS3. Unfortunately, the screenshots look as if they were taken from a cell phone. So if you don't mind the quality you can check out some third-person action in this first-person shooter.
One of the neat things about Starbreeze's take on the Pitch Black franchise is that it's majority a first-person shooter game that utilizes gameplay elements found in third-person action titles. The game is also housing an all-new multiplayer feature, which is bound to draw in more attention than its predecessor.
According to the press release, the original Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay will also be included in the Assault on Dark Athena package. I'm not sure how that's going to work for the Xbox 360, considering that the games are already pushing their limits on the DVD9 format. Unless, of course, it comes on two separate DVDs.
