This week’s PlayStation Plus update will bring closure to all subscribers. Wait, I’m sorry, I wrote that wrong. This week’s PlayStation Plus update will bring Closure, the artsy adventure puzzle game, to all subscribers.
Tomorrow is Tuesday, which means Sony will be unleashing the latest batch of free games and discounted content for all PlayStation Plus subscribers. This week’s main attraction is the black and white puzzle game, Closure, that tasks the player with using light sources in some pretty creative ways in order to complete objectives.
Along with a free copy of Closure, Plus subscribers will also have access to a handful of games being sold at a discount.
First up is the obscenely adorable gem breaking game, Critter Crunch. While the genre is technically “gem” breaking, the color-coordinated breakables this time around are various types of, you guessed it, critters that actually combine by eating those lower on the food chain. It’s bright, vibrant, and did I mention there’s a mechanic that allows you to barf rainbows? Critter Crunch will be 80 percent off for Plus subscribers starting tomorrow, moving from $6.99 to $1.40. If you don’t pick it up at that price, you don’t have a soul.
The top-down shooter, Alien Breed is also launching on PSN tomorrow, marked down by 20 percent ($7.99) for Plusers. You can also pick up Derrick the Deathfin for 50 percent off ($4) and NHL 13 for 20 percent off ($38.39).
Look for Closure and the above discounts to go live tomorrow afternoon when the PlayStation Network undergoes its regular weekly update.
