Combat Arms: Rewarding Players For “Nut-Shots”

published: 2009-03-25 12:32:43
Who would have thought there could be a press release about cracking nuts with sniper fire? Well, Nexon America thinks this is news worthy and by golly we think so, too.

"We are constantly striving to bring new and exciting game elements to our fans, elements that resonate beyond traditional FPS game play," said Min Kim, vice president of marketing for Nexon America. "Nut Shot is an amusing and challenging addition to the arsenal of features in Combat Arms - designed to enhance the gaming experience through increased interactivity, exceptional entertainment value, and of course, humor."

With just over 2 million users taking a crack at Combat Arms, the game is well on its way to video gaming super-stardom, and it’s definitely getting a little help with features such as the “Nut-Shots”. Although, for those of you offended by the term “nut-shots”, there’s always “junk crunching”, “dumbbell dropping”, “grape squeezing” and “berry popping” (not to be confused with “cherry popping”)

What’s more, though, is that a player who lands these banana-splitting hits will be rewarded with a little graphic of a walnut being cracked…ouch. Did I happen to mention that popping balls equals instant-death? Well, if you didn’t know before you know now.

You can learn more about using bullet-ballet for nut-cracking by visiting the Official Combat Arms Website. Heck, I think the game happens to be one of our sponsors here at Blend Games (all the more reason to get to clicking so you can get to cracking).
