One of the most highly anticipated games of 2007 is The Darkness for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. And there’s no doubt, this game has an intriguingly shady look that suits its gritty, demonic storyline. Based on the graphic novel by TopCow, The Darkness by 2K Games had another trailer unveiled at this year’s Comic-Con.

Featuring first and third-person action, the unique ability to manipulate the protagonist’s special “Darkness” powers, and lots of little critters in both single and multiplayer modes, The Darkness manages to retain a great deal of originality, despite being classified as an FPS. And for those who attended the NYC comic convention in-person, they received a glimpse at this mysterious next-gen title.
