Sega and Obsidian’s upcoming tactical-espionage, RPG, Alpha Protocol, is coming along very nicely. The game has a bit of that Mass Effect glower to it yet with a lot of features and functions you might expect from Ghost Recon or Grand Theft Auto. The new video documentary gives players a thorough showing of the safe-houses that will be at the player’s disposal, complete with various weapon caches and accessories for customizing the main character.
Primarily, Alpha Protocol is an espionage RPG that focuses on allowing gamers to develop and evolve the kind of secret agent they would like to be. One of the descriptions for the game sees it as a palette for spy development using the rule of the three JBs: James Bond, Jason Bourne and Jack Bauer. Players can exercise gadget-heavy tactics like Bond, rely on cunning and martial arts like Bourne or utilize torturous techniques and marksman abilities like Bauer. The latest trailer showcases how players can build up their spy using the safe house to placate the desires of gamers who like to do nothing more than spend hours customizing guns, browsing through weapon catalogs or seeing if the five-o-clock look goes with a backward cap and some dark shades. You can check out the new dev diary below or visit the Official Website for more info on the game. For more gaming news, updates and media, be sure to stay tuned in with Blend Games.
