Vigil Games has just blown me away with how impressive Darksiders is. Even if the game doesn’t make it on any top list for 2009 it has already shown that it has a compelling story with an intricate plot and great exploration of narrative. I think this is one of the few games this year I’m tempted to play through just because of the storyline.

Nevertheless, gamers who have yet to experience what Darksiders is about you can check out two new videos that are prime examples of how good promotion is done. The first video documentary features Mark Hamill, Luke Skywalker himself, voicing out the The Watcher, the sleezy, scheming, uncompromising villain that accompanies War on his quest for retribution.

The second video trailer is just an out right epic overview of what the game is about and how players take control of War and his flaming steed. The weapons showcased in the trailer just look plain fun to use and the environments are monumentally artistic in a disturbed and devastating way.
