Comic Con: David Jaffe Disses 3D And PS Move Support For PS3's Twisted MetalAuthor: William Usher

Not too long ago some of you PS3 fanboys raised hands, shouted aloud and cheered when David Jaffe and crew came onto the stage during Sony’s live E3 press conference and announced that a new Twisted Metal was on the way, exclusively for the PS3. Well, the news gets a little heavier (depending on where you stand) as Cinema Blend Game’s Pete Haas reported that Jaffe commented at this year's Comic Con that Twisted Metal for the PS3 will not support stereoscopic 3D or PlayStation Move for all those neo-contemporary gamers out there.
You can either cheer or jeer as the news rolls in, but the decision was made apparently to retain some quality aspect of gameplay instead of force-feeding the latest gimmick down the throats of the core gamers. Whether or not this decision will change later on down the road when Sony realizes that they need to get their motion device established with the attachment of bigger name franchises is something that only time will tell. In the meantime, PS3 gamers looking forward to Twisted Metal will not have the option of looking forward to twisting metal with the PS Move...or in 3D.
