Capcom’s newest Resident Evil game for the Nintendo Wii features some rail-shooting fun and amazing graphical detail. With that said, a set of seven new screenshots have been released for the game and you can view them right here at Blend Games.

It’s interesting that Capcom continues to invest in the Resident Evil series for the Wii. However, while a lot of other hardcore games have failed to make much of a dent in the sales charts, RE games seem to found a market niche in which to continue its success on Nintendo’s latest console platform.

Given the high popularity for the franchise, the amazing graphics and the fact that the Wii’s install base is humungous, Capcom is probably looking at another goldmine in RE: DarkSide Chronicles.
