Just in case you didn't catch that marketing survey that revealed Command & Conquer 4 was in development, EA has accidentally disclosed the game's existence once again.

"New release: EA LOS ANGELES ANNOUNCES DEVELOPMENT OF COMMAND & CONQUER 4," tweeted EA's UK PR team earlier today (thanks, Joystiq). They also provided a link to EA's main press site...where there was no press release announcing the game. Guess they jumped the gun a bit. The formal announcement will probably be coming soon, though.

The survey conducted in June hinted that C&C 4 may include RPG-like progression, co-op play, and class-based gameplay. The game is also said to the conclusion to the Tiberium story arc that began with the first Command & Conquer.
