Crime Scene Announced For Nintendo DS

published: 2009-08-27 10:30:25
SouthPeak Games recently announced that the Nintendo DS will be receiving a crime solving, detective game, appropriately named Crime Scene. The game pretty much simulates what you might see on a show like C.S.I, only this time players are the ones doing the investigating not has-been actors.

Richard Iggo, VP of Marketing at SouthPeak commented in the press release, saying…
“People love a good ‘whodunit’, so we’re about to give them a bunch of head-scratching crimes to solve,” said. “Whether you are a fan of police dramas on TV, classic detective fiction, or just tricky puzzles, Crime Scene allows players to take part in their own tense, high stakes investigation and get involved in forensic work.”

Like any DS game, players must use the stylus scramble through crime scenes, and use the breath and voice features to “condemn” the accused. Taking blood samples, lifting fingerprints and casing the body for clues is all available in the game. The only thing that seems to be missing is the ability to plant evidence and throw the wrong person in jail.

Anyway, you can learn more about Crime Scene by visiting the Official SouthPeak Games Website. Crime Scene is due out exclusively for the Nintendo DS this upcoming holiday season. For more gaming news, updates, info and insight, be sure to stay tuned in with Blend Games.
