It’s not often that companies toss out a promotional trailer for an engine and just say, “Hey, check out the features of this engine”. A trailer like that might seem kind of boring to most gamers but that’s certainly not the case with the CryEngine 3. Crytek released a new video package containing all the new core functionalities of the CryEngine 3 and its support for PC, Xbox 360 and PS3.

For the most part, it’s a trailer that goes over the possibilities of the engine and what gamers might expect to see in the near future for their favorite gaming platform. Already Crytek is bringing their famed Crysis franchise to the current generation consoles and that’s all thanks to the CryEngine 3.
