A new teaser website for Crysis 2 is now online and it's essentially a big shrine to the Crynet Systems Nanosuit 2.0, the new version of the super-powered suit worn by the hero of the first Crysis.
"For the first time, combat armor not only protects your soldiers but improves them: immunizes them against fear and fatigue, keeps them razor-sharp around the clock, feeds real-time tactical telemetry from a thousand sources directly into the brain," states a fake Nanosuit 2.0 brochure on the teaser website. Later on in the brochure, it adds: "Adrenaline, GABA, and tricyclic levels are all maintained at optimal levels for lightning reflexes, maximal sensory acuity, and positive emotional state. Your forces will pursue their objectives with tireless and unswerving dedication for days on end."
Well, whatever. As long as it lets me turn invisible and toss people around like ragdolls, Nanosuit 2.0 and I will get along just fine. If there are any concrete gameplay details here, they're well-hidden. There's two teaser trailers and some pretty wallpapers for you to pore over, though.
Crysis 2, powered by CryEngine 3, was announced for the PC, PS3, and Xbox 360 >right before E3. No word on when we should expect it to arrive.
