Not a whole lot is known about the upcoming EA game Dante's Inferno other than the fact that they've already sold the film rights and it's based on a 14th century book. Blend Games, however, just spotted a Dante's Inferno action figure at the Toy Fair in New York and we know now what one of the characters looks like.

It's possibly this ass-kicking crusader fellow is supposed to be the protagonist but no additional information was offered at the Fair about the figure. It was the only toy from Dante's Inferno on display, though, and you figure they'd make the protagonist first, right? As the little sign mentions, the design's not final and that makes sense given that the game's still in development.

The action figure's set to be released in "late 2009," which is about the time you should expect the game as well.
