Visceral Games is really going out on a limb to creatively capture the essence of what hell would be like. Today, a new dev doc became available featuring the lair of Gluttony. Given the detail and grotesque nature of each level, I almost feel sorry for poor Dante having to face some of the gross things featured in the game. It almost makes you question if the chick is really worth the stuff he has to face? Honestly, I don’t think some of that stuff will wash off.

The latest developer documentary for Dante’s Inferno is all about the third lair, which is gluttony. There are lots of references to farting, vomiting and defecating. However, the following video trailer is limited mostly to the vomiting and farting. Sorry, no poop-shooting to be found here folks.

The developers also talk a good deal about the level designs, and it is true that Dante’s Inferno is (so far) showing great promise as the next God of War or Ninja Gaiden. Well, enough chatter-boxing. You can check out the new dev doc below.
