"We can't unveil the gift yet, but believe us: you're not going to want to miss it," says Vigil Games. They add that more details will be released "later in the month". Registered members of the Darksiders community will be emailed when the announcement finally occurs.

The easy guess is that it's a code to download new content for the game. However, Vigil stated in a recent interview that they aren't going to release DLC for the game.
