THQ’s story-driven hack-and-slash game based on the popular comic series is nearing release and a new "World in Ruins" promotional trailer was let loose to keep the anticipation high. The new trailer explains a little bit more of the story but reels in viewers with a ton of action.

Darksiders features God of War style gameplay, but with guns and horses. The adventuring and fighting looks pretty sweet and if Kratos was matched up against War I doubt Kratos would come out the victor given the odds falling in War’s favor…he is War, you know.
