Valve has seen fit to announce their weekend Steam deal a day early. It's a big 'un - 50% off all Relic Entertainment games available through the digital service.

The offer includes all the games in the Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War and Company of Heroes strategy franchises. The latest installments in each series, Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War II and Company of Heroes: Tales of Valor, are only $24.99 and $14.99 respectively. Not bad, considering the games were both released this year.

The discount coincides with the release of free "There is Only War" DLC for Dawn of War II. "There Is Only War" adds 8 multiplayer maps, Observer and Referee features, and a map editor, among other things.
