Goodness, the new generation of MMORPGs has evolved greatly. The latest Korean port for North American gamers is NCSoft’s Blade and Soul and the new debut trailer is simply dazzling.
The character designs and visuals are almost on par with T.E.R.A Online but the character classes and gameplay really set it apart as a marvel within the MMO genre. In addition to standard-fare combat there is also the addition of platform gameplay, puzzles, and dungeons designed as an obstacle course. That’s not to mention that the actual gameplay looks gorgeous.
This Unreal Engine 3 powered MMORPG is still currently going through the localization process and we’ll keep you posted when it becomes available.
