Dead Space 2 executive producer Steve Papoutsis addressed a few fan concerns in a video published by EA today on Facebook. Papoutsis was pretty tight-lipped about the game but he did talk a bit about its Collector's Edition.

One of the fans asked him to put a life-sized version of the Plasma Cutter (Isaac Clarke's signature weapon) in the CE. Papoutsis responded: "Yeah, that would be pretty bad-ass, and I think maybe we might look into things like that. Can't promise but I certainly would love to have one."

EA sold a $150 Special Limited Edition for the original Dead Space so clearly they have no qualms about selling expensive bundles. If DS2 gets the animated film and comic book treatment again, though, one would expect them to include those in a CE instead of a plastic gun, though.
