EA and Activision both believe that their new IP's, Dead Space and Prototype respectively, have a lot of franchise potential. How else can you explain the heroes from each game being turned into action figures?
The Isaac Clarke and Alex Mercer were chilling next to each other at the NECA booth at the Toy Fair in New York this weekend. Alex has one of his biomorphic weapons at the ready but Isaac appears to be unarmed. Not exactly a smart choice considering he's always hanging around derelict ships filled with vicious aliens. Maybe the figure will be wielding a plasma cutter when he hits stores?
Both figures should be on sale later this year. The Dead Space game was released in October 2008 while Prototype is expected to hit stores in June 2009.
