The DSi killer, better known as the Apple iPod Touch, is receiving some casual-ware for its casual consumers. The latest gaming addition to Apple’s multi-purpose devices is Deal or No Deal: Million Dollar Mission, based on the hit show on NBC. The game is currently available on iTunes’ store.
I’m not going to go on and about in a diatribe regarding the uselessness of Deal or No Deal, or how ridiculous the concept of the show really is. Instead, I’ll try to keep it civil in regards to the game based on a television show that requires an I.Q. that extends no further than a single digit.
“Endemol’s Deal Or No Deal is a worldwide hit with millions of fans across the globe and now it’s available on the iPhone and iPod touch”, said Don Ryan, COO, Oberon Media, I-play’s parent company. “The enhanced graphics and gameplay of Deal Or No Deal: Million Dollar Mission perfectly re-create the game show atmosphere, and its action and excitement will have casual gamers so intrigued, they won’t be able to put it down.”
The game contains 10 levels that increase in difficulty, and make use of the iPod Touch/iPhone’s multi-touch user-interface. The game will supposedly be better than standard shovelware offered on most other cell-phones, so that’s not too bad. Deal or No Deal: Million Dollar Mission will also contain enhanced graphics and musical score.
The game costs a meager $4.99, and is available on the Official iTunes Store. Be sure to stay tuned in with Blend Games for more news and info regarding the latest gaming news.
