A new kind of terrifying experience is on the way and it’s called Degeneration Theory: Cataclysm. Unlike most other survival-horror, first-person games players will not be in control of some super-human space marine or a combat savvy ex-military operative. Instead, players will control the oh-so-avergae Megan Stone and must unravel and survive through a devastating event that occurs in London.

The debut trailer isn’t much and manages only to showcase a few of the game’s dimly lit environments, however the premise of the game seems fairly interesting given that it’s to take place in open-environments.

Visually, Crystal Core’s FPS looks strikingly similar to Quake IV, with a lot of limestone hues and a sea-green lighting theme. The visuals are interesting, nonetheless.
