It wasn’t too long ago that Codemasters let it be known that Colin McRae’s DiRT 2 for PC was going to be delayed due to added support for DirectX 11. Nevertheless, the console version(s) of the game are still on the way and will be available at the end of summer.
Featuring some of the best graphics around, amazing physics and damage detail and more than 100 events to partake in, Colin McRae’s DiRT 2 is shaping up to be a worthy sounding sequel of the original game. According to the press release gamers can get their hands on this title for the Xbox 360 and PS3 come September 10th.
PC gamers will have to wait with indubitable patience because that version will look the best due to DirectX 11. But you know how the old saying goes, “Tis better to have a game that looks good than a game that does not.” Yep, that’s what PC gamers used to tell console gamers back in the 90’s, when all console games looked like crap.
