The final PlayStation Plus update of March is headed our way tomorrow afternoon, bringing with it a fresh copy of Disgaea 3: Asbsence of Detention for the PlayStation Vita, as well as a bunch of sales on Square Enix and THQ games.

Announced earlier this month as an upcoming addition to the PS Plus Instant Game Collection, Disgaea 3 was one of the first games to make it onto Sony's new handheld system last year. Now Plus users across the country can take control of student from the Evil Academy and guide them through a unique SRPG full of strategic battles, clever crafting and interactions with the game's numerous NPCs.

If a free game isn't your cup of tea, or perhaps you've yet to get your hands on a Vita, then perhaps one of this coming week's PS Plus sale items will catch your fancy instead.

First up is the Square Enix Sale. While a handful of games are going on 50 percent discount for all PSN users, Plus subscribers will be able to jack those saving all the way up to a whopping 55 percent. Okay, so maybe five extra percent off isn't all that great but, hey, beggars can't be choosers. Just Cause 2 and Kane and Lynch 2: Dog Days will be marked down to $9.99 for everyone, or $8.99 for Plusers. Kane and Lynch: Dead Men and Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light will be discounted to $7.49 starting tomorrow, or $6.74 for Plus.

There's also a sale on THQ games tomorrow at 50 percent off with Plus subscribers getting an additional 25 percent off. Darksiders II will be $34.99 or $27.99 for plus. MX Vs ATV: Alive, Red Faction: Armageddon and Red Faction: Guerrila will be marked down to $9.99 or $5 for Plus. Costume Quest, Stacking and De Blob 2 will be marked down to $7.49 or $3.75 for Plus. Finally, Red Faction: Battlegrounds and Darksiders II: Official Soundtrack will be marked down to $4.99 or $2.50 for Plus.

And finally, on its own, escapeVektor for the Vita will be marked down to $4.99 for all PSN users or $4.49 for PS Plus.
