The third-person action, dragon-flying game has landed on gold status and will be making its retail-shelf appearance come January 5th. Divinity II: Ergo Draconis is a mix of hack-and-slash gameplay with a little bit of free-flight, open-world mechanics thanks to the hero’s ability to transform into a dragon.
According to the press release... The game allows players to take on the role of a young Dragon Slayer, a hero with the ability to transform into a dragon, and take to the skies to fight against an onslaught of deadly creatures while protecting the citizenry of the game’s fantasy world. The game doesn’t look all that bad and is probably as close to Lair as the Xbox 360 is going to get. Except, you can actually run around on the ground in Divinity II. The game is rated ‘M’ for Mature and will retail for the suggested $59.99.
