A new gameplay vignette was released for Divinity II, featuring the lands of Rivellon. The video gives an expansive overview for some of the environments players will traverse and what the general landscape will look like.

I’m not entirely convinced that this game will be all that grand, but in this latest trailer the environments sure do look pretty. The ability to run on land and fly through the skies gives the game an extra layer of immersion but the real question is how well it’ll all come together to make up for a streamlined experience? Only the reviewers will know.

For those of you who are willing to wait for the holiday season to end, you can look for Divinity II: Ergo Draconis to hit store shelves on January 5th, 2010.
