Aspyr’s new first-person shooter for the Xbox 360 and PC is an interesting and intriguing concept. It’s not a typical hero saving the world or an overly muscle-bound, gun-totting military operative striking down against terrorists. Instead, DreamKiller is all about invading dreams, for better or for worse.

A new debut trailer was released for this original new FPS and I must say that it sports a good premise and shows a lot of promise. While some people might be going, “Oh, not another FPS game…” the one thing that stands out with DreamKiller is that it offers up more than just the standard-fare room-to-room shoot-outs. There are platform elements and what looks like a good dose of adventuring.

The new debut trailer explains the story and setup for the game rather well. There is also a good deal of gameplay nicely wrapped up in between the voice-over.
