The words “Big Daddy” have taken on a whole new meaning. Anyone who knows anything about the Xbox 360's first-rate horror-shooter will tell you that BioShock is possibly second next to The Darkness. But anyone who doesn’t know squat about video games, will see BioShock and swear it’s the scariest game they’ve ever seen.

You can check out the new E3 2007 screenshots of the game below, most of which feature the game’s boss-like regular, the “Big Daddy”. He’s obese with fright and carries a weapon that would make Jason and Michael feel very small, indeed. The only thing is, I’m sometimes not sure if the Big Daddy is using a jack-hammer or an over-sized nail-gun. Either way he, and his weapon(s), are about as dangerous as they look.
