Midway’s not just taking part in the exclusive Unreal Tournament 3 dig for the PS3, but they also have a hand in the upcoming first-person shooter, Blacksite: Area 51 for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. Now a lot of gamers have been ranting on this game, but I, for one, actually think it has potential. You can see the exclusive E3 trailer for yourself and be the judge.

I think a fair comparison of this game would be with Resistance: Fall of Man. The reason I name Resistance, is because they involve the same story premise, only this game has the invasion taking place in modern day times. Also, Blacksite features soldiers who will fight alongside you, but opposite of Resistance: FoM, you can actually give your squad mates commands and directions in Blacksite. That’s pretty cool right? You couldn’t even do that in Halo.
