So you’ve read about this striking new game for the Nintendo Wii, but you still want to gaze at some spanking new screenshots? Well, no worries. We have a nice little selection of brand new screenshots for Ubisoft’s new racing franchise, NitroBike. I must warn you though, they don’t look the way you might be expecting them to.

While many people will arguably detest the notion that a game can only be good if it looks good, there are some defenders of the ‘ugly games can be good games’ campaign that will readily agree that NitroBike is definitely ugly. However, looks can be very, very deceiving. Ubisoft explicitly made sure that NitroBike was about fun, not graphics. And as you’ll see from the following screenshots, this game could have easily been a bad PlayStation 2 port.

Still, given the sheer speed and the made-for-super-fun tracks, you at least have to give Ubisoft props for aiming to make the game fun and not graphics-oriented, like some other recent games that have fallen flat on their faces *cough* Tenchu Z and Shadowrun *cough* .
