Not long ago (within the time-frame of one day, actually) we reported on Silent Hill 5 being announced and that a new teaser trailer was available. Well, now Konami has gone and released some new screenshots of the actual game. So all that whining you were doing a while back, after you seen the trailer, can stop.

The screenshots are decent enough. It’s Silent Hill for crying out loud! So it’s dark and moody and the atmosphere is filled with grim intentions. However, on the basis of how well the game actually looks, as you can see for yourself, it’s pretty good. The character model shows small signs of jagged edges from the resolution (probably 720p) but otherwise it looks the way the CG movies used to look back in the day. Except, this time it’s for the actual in-game play.
